Adja Diop

Hi, I’m Adja and I’m originally from Sénégal. I love math and cleaning. My favorite food is dakhine. It’s made with ground peanuts and or peanut butter, rice, fish or meat, and seasoning. I love to teach because it is such a noble profession and a super power. Because of us, there are doctors and firefighters that can save lives, police officers that help to maintain security and order, engineers that build the best roads so we can travel to visit family members, and others. In the classroom, students learn best when they make connections between new knowledge and knowledge/ concepts that they already have.
